html - Is there a header alternative to <base>? -

might ignorant question client-side application uses it's resources. html page rendered server involves template engine , template variable because base url changes. wondering if there alternative base (maybe header?). way can let server serve html , set header , not have deal template engine , such.

the document controls base, not protocol (http). can, however, use javascript change value.
