auto renewing - Does Apple try to renew an IOS subscription past the renewal date? -

i have app supports auto renewal , trying determine if should should keep checking past renewal date auto renewable subscription if apple tries renew past date if there issue transaction failing or other reason. if so, how long?

if subscriber of app has opted auto renewal apple keep renewing his/her a/c till time subscriber doesn't opt out it.

also till time billing method subscriber has provided information valid.
